a day at the beach

today we went to the beach and it was beautiful! we had so much fun :) it was the first time that we have been this summer and we decided that we definitely need to go more often. both of the kids love the water and the sand (jc only tried to eat it once). jae loved jumping over the waves and trying to build a sand caslte before the water knocked it down. jc had no fear...big surprise. after we got his sunscreen on he went right for the water. he pretty much stayed there until we left. he wouldn't even eat lunch and we all know the boy loves to eat.

Night Time Zoo

i love the night time zoo. it is the only time that the zoo doesn't seem to be blazing hot during the summer. the animals are always more active too.

Happy Anniversary and 4th of July

on the fourth of july we went to my grandparents house. not only did we celebrate america's birthday, but my grandparent's 65th wedding anniversary. what an awesome example of unconditional love! we had a ton of fun watching fireworks and hanging out with family.

My Monkeys

Today's weather is perfect! I love summer. Jae and JC had a ton of fun playing outside with the water table. They both wanted bananas for snack so here they are being little monkeys. I love this picture...it cracks me up!
